We have finished learning the sounds of all the letters!  We worked hard this week to review the vowel sounds.

In math we are working on a measuring unit.  We are focusing on measuring vocabulary such as taller, longer, shorter, etc.

In writer's workshop we finished and published our how-to books.  The students have grown so much as writers by making their writing readable!

Thank you for continuing to read at home with your children with the reading books that are sent home.  Your children are becoming so good at using strategies to figure out tricky words in books.

Our field trip is quickly approaching on May 7th.  The cost for students is $5 dollars and $10 for chaperones.
