Last week we learned our last vowel sound for the letter Ee.  This week we are learning the sound for the letter Xx.  We only have one letter left...Zz!

In reading workshop your children have learned to take care of their books by keeping their books in a special bag.  This week we will talk about the characters and settings in their stories.

In writer's workshop we are continuing to write how-to-books.  Your child can brainstorm more ideas of what they can write about for these books at home by thinking of daily things they do like how to brush your teeth.

In math we are working hard to read, write, count, represent numbers 1-100.  We will dig deeper and take a closer look at these numbers.
